All audio tracks were recorded using four string passive Fender or Squier jazz basses and active circuitry Ibanez Soundgear basses in standard (EADG) and low-B (BEAD) tunings except where noted on tablature. Basses were recorded through a Zoom B3 multi-effect unit into a Fender Rumble amplifier using XLR input into a Tascam DP-008 digital eight track recorder. Normalization and volume edits were made using Audacity. For easier note definition, the isolated bass track is recorded at a higher volume level. EQ levels on the original stereo recordings are flat while the mono bass tracks use a combination of no effects, compression, and distortion when required.
